World Headline News

I've seen some SMF boards that have a "World Headline News" box at the bottom that has a news feed that slowly scrolls/fades through top headlines.  I am not finding anything on the community, modifications or manual.

I'm running on 2.0.2, so if anyone has a suggestion, that would be great.  Thanks. :)

Admin -> Current Theme -> Show the news fader :)

When I set that, I get the forum news (e.g., "SMF just installed!"), not world news headlines.

I'm sorry, I thought you wanted to show the forum news. :P You could try the rss feader of a portal for that. Personally, I just Simple Portal: http://simpleportal.net
