Is there some SMF Back-end online demo?

I wonder if is there some link to check an on-line demo of the SMF back-end and front end. So a site to try it out.

Hi Phantomm, thanks a lot. That is exactly what I was looking for!

Now I'll check if it is possible through the back end change the message icons images and texts and also add a prefix subject or if it is made by PHP code changes.

For tests like this would be best to install SMF on localhost Demo like this have limited possibilities.

Not sure what ilucato intend with "texts", so I cannot say anything.

Hi folks, when we create a 'new post' or 'post reply' whe have the field 'Subject:' and the dropdown list 'Message icon:'. Here is what I meant to change text and icons. So, lets suppose I want to change the 'Standard' icon text to 'Approved' and change its image, and so on for the other states into this dropdown list. Also regarding the prefix, I meant to add a new input field before the 'subject:' So, it will post the Prefix+Subject as topic tittle.

As mentioned by Kindred it seems that I'll need mods for it. Hey Kindred do you know if there is such mods to achieve that?

That is possible out of the box from the admin panel:
1) admin > forum > smileys and messageicons > settings => here select "Enable customized message icons"
2) admin > forum > smileys and messageicons > edit messageicons => set the icons you want

ah... those message icons.  I thought you means the "new message" board icons (which  is the usual request)
Sorry.. yes, emanuele is right (as you'd expect) on the message icons - and there are a few mods, as he linked to that do the prefix thing.

Hi Emanuel and folks, thanks a lot for your reply. Very useful for a newbie like me and I bet will be useful for a lot of people! :0)

Now, I'll keep doing my search for other thinks like using JoomFish [nofollow] because I have my site www.EsferaDoBem.com.br [nofollow] in two languages (Portuguese-br and English), so I need SMF working in both too.

SMF can work in both languages quite happily

Just install a copy (per my post in your other thread) on your site and play with it. No need for a demo site.
