The only journal mod I see is an older one. Does anyone know of a journal mod that will work with the current 2.X version of the forum? I run a fishing forum and that would be a nice addition.

Board News could work for you, as well. It's how I'm handling this on several sites.

Thanks for the ideas. Mainly I'd like to find a way for members to keep their own journal of their trips out on the water. Fishermen like tracking their seasons.

Have you tried installing the mod for 1.x using the emulation option in the packages section?

Upload the package first and don't install it, then if you go to 'Package Manager > Browse Packages' click on the 'Advanced' option and enter the version of SMF that the mod worked with and then install it and see if it works.

It would need to be rewritten for 2.x.
