I tried to search for this but it says the function is disabled.

Since my forum began I've been contacted by a few people asking why their post count said "leet"

Someone has just posted that it seems to be when they are on 1337 posts.

Is there an explanation for this or is it just some kind of intermittent glitch?

It's an easter egg hidden in SMF.
