Recreate file_hash from attachments

Hey,

Im looking for how to generate a new file_hash for attachments. I started to code a migration python (w/ mysqldb api) script from a very old phorum to SMF.

Here is what I found in Subs.php:

sha1(md5($filename . time()) . mt_rand());

Is it right for my use ? Thanks
