Hello,

I am currently trying if we can convert our board to SMF software, i copied our forum to my local server and created a new SMF installation.
The XMB and SMF database are in the same database, but with a different prefix. So far so good.

While running the convert tool for XMB I come across following error:

QuoteConverting...
Converting topics...

Successful.
Converting posts (this may take some time)...Wrong value type sent to the database. Integer expected. (id_member)

the url being:
Quote.../convert.php?step=1&substep=9&start=40000&debug=true

as you can see the tool did his work for the previous 40000 posts.

the debug outputted:

QuoteNotice: Undefined index: convert_script in C:\wamp\www\site\convert.php on line 66
Notice: Function set_magic_quotes_runtime() is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\site\convert.php on line 70

info on the XMB forum:
348739 posts
41578 topics
19 forums (19 active)
19447 users

Can anybody point me in the right direction so I can continue the SMF conversion?

Kind regards,

Michiel

Sorry, Obelisk. I'm not ignoring your post. It's just that I have no idea how this WAMP stuff works. I guess I ought to find out, really.

Anyway, welcome to the forum and I hope someone can help you out, with this.

Obelix

Seriously, i would appreciate it if someone could help me with this issue..

Thank you martin!

using an old convertor and old forum software did actually work. Weird I didn't think of that!
Now i'm going to try to update the forums, that shouldn't be much of a hassle i think.

Solved!

Glad you got it sorted, handy to know how you resolved it :)

I am attempting to convert from XMB to SMF, and during the conversion process, I get this error message:

QuoteConverting topics...
Duplicate entry '17788' for key 'PRIMARY'

Any suggestions?
