Mick.

Alright community, let me pick your brain as i recently started to allow guest posting before moderator approval.

1. Does the admin or mod gets a PM or an email to approve such posts? If not, is there a mod that you use?
2. Does it show the amount of posts to be approved up top by the avatar?

Thanx,
Mick.

Illori

in the moderation center under change settings there is an option per user to enable notification of items awaiting approval [given the email is only sent out when the scheduled task runs]

depends on the theme being used, a lot of themes remove the extra stuff that shows around the avatar for some reason.

Ok. Up top in the header all it shows reports for moderators from other users about reported posts right? I've seen that but its not what im looking for.

What i want is the count of posts that that are held for approval up in the header instead of going to the moderator page.

I guess im going to have to modify it myself to show the post count in the header.

Illori

ah you are right it does not exist in the header for unapproved posts, sorry.
