SMF area 51

I would like to know. phpBB has a site (http://area51.phpbb.com) where you can download a shapshot of phpBB3. And I would like to know....does SMF have a site like this?

nope. this server is like their test server as well. as far as i know.

It would be nice to have a cvs smf test forum but this would waste developers time

Currently only team members have access to CVS builds in order to test them but not have them in widespread use that could cause support problems.

It's not something I see changing to be honest

Glad to hear it, plus if people want the bleeding edge of SMF then people will sign up for a paid membership, charter or something of the likes.
