Attachments not Attaching [New Instalation 1.0.5]

Any Ideas?

I have just installed 1.0.5 with the default skin. I have enabled attachments (and experimented by setting all of the attachment restrictions on and off). I am unable to get the attachment to actually attach to the message (gif, jpg, txt, ...) When I preview/post the message the body of the message is fine, but there is no attachment (in-line or link).

The attachment does not show in the attachment folder on the server (permission is 777).

Can you please post your error log?

I have not been able to find an error log or an option to generate a log in the admin settings. (Where should I look?)

No messages...

I did get it to upload an image as an avatar. (It converted a jpg to png and dropped it into the attachments folder.)

Do you think that there could be a glitch with the permissions for one of the php files that would keep attachments from uploading?

Is the path to your attachments directory correct?

I checked the path/directory settings.
The Settings.php paths are correct (full paths).
The attachments directory (is correct also (full path).

I have been testing other features and I have only found one other glitch: the html/BBCode formatting tags for Forum News do not work as I would expect. Unrelated, I would think, but if it helps.

Remember, if you preview a post you will loose your already attached files, so you need to add them again before posting. You should get a warning for that.
