Do you guys know the Simple machines logo next to the tap?
The tiny little icon?

How do I edit that?
Is it in the file directory?

There are various online tools. But, if you create a 16x16 or 32x32 size image and save it in .ico format, just put it in the root of your forum, with the filename favicon.ico and browsers will find it. Although, you might need to empty your browser's cache. With most browsers, a refresh will be enough.

No need for any coding, mods, or any of that ol' stuff. :)

Doesn't seem to change it.
I put it in the directory.

It's still a favicon.ico

It downloaded it.
Is there somewhere I have to change it in the Admin Panel

kat

Nope. It might take a little while to show, though. You MIGHT need to "Empty the file cache", in Forum Maintenance.

I'll just give it a little time.
Because I emptied the Cache under forum maintenance and it's still not showing.

My cache is empty. I'm looking at your site and the favicon's a red/yellow/black letter "P", or something?

Yeah that's right.
I wonder why it isn't showing for me.

Did you clear your browser's cache and cookies as well?
