Is there a way to restrict JUST the posting privileges of a board to a certain membergroup while still allowing all other groups to view the board?

Thanks in advance~

Hi! I think that nobody saw your message...

First, set up a custom permission profile for that board from here:
Forum » Administration Center » Permissions » Board Permissions

And then go to:
Forum » Administration Center » Boards » Modify Boards » Permissions {of the board you want to edit}
And set it up the way you want it to be :) you can edit each membergroup permission so it shouldn't be difficult. In case you need more assistance just post again and ask :D

It's so powerful that on this post and even in the two PMs you sent me,you still answered my question very quickly and you're apologizing for the delay. You're the #1 support I've probably ever encountered man, so much respect for that. Thank you, and get better soon.

I'll keep this in my siggy for a while just to remind me that someone appreciated what I did while others didn't.

you would need to set up a permission profile first, since all boards by default use the default profile if you edit that one to do what you want then you will block all other groups from posting.

well that is not the way i usually go about editing a profile... it is usually easier to just edit it from the edit profiles page where you just created the profile.

As long as the user can find it it's fine in both ways I think :)

Let us know if you either sort it out (just mark the topic solved in this case ;) ) or you need more assistance (just post again in this case :) )
