You don't...    PSD files are images.  HTML files are coding which may call images but need to be coded.

PSD files can also contain textual layers. I'm not entirely convinced of this topic though. If the OP is a web developer, I doubt he/she would start with a PSD file. A designer might, but not a web developer.

PSD's must be converted into an image file first. Then sliced and saved as HTML all with Photoshop. You will end up with an index file and an image folder.  But I would not recommend attempting to do this with SMF.
No, I will not offer free downloads to Premium DzinerStuido themes. Please stop asking.

It is extremely common for designers to create a site design in PSD, then a developer converts it to HTML. The idea is that the PSD will have all the layers with unique info such as background images and etc, which can easily be taken apart to use in the html, unlike a png or jpg (though those are sometimes used too, as well as pdf). It is a manual conversion.

I fail to see how this related with smf at all though, you wouldn't be doing this in it, even theme creation would be totally different. My bet is he's asking in the wrong place, and should go for a webdevelopers forum or something.

Just for information, the purpose of this board is for asking general coding questions which don't necessarily relate to SMF software ;).

Oh. I haven't seen a lot of posts that don't relate to smf in any way, and some had people wondering what it was for as well. Didn't think this section was like this. Thanks for clearing that up :)

Still, he'd probably get better help on a specialized forum.

... And indian?    ;D

No offense to indians in the forum, but there's a lot of indian(also some other countries around it) spammers on that field, even on freelance sites and alike :P

Gwenwyfar

Ah, still in the range. At least those I see on other sites are always either indian or from some of these middle-east countries :P

There's a lot of poverty, around there. I guess any income is worth getting, however it's achieved, for them. Abhor Spam, though we do, for some, it's a lifeline.

Sad, innit?

Gwenwyfar

True, when its advertising. I guess its still better than when they make bots too :P

On the site I see it in (a freelance site) the spam works quite a bit against them, though. They just spam applications to anyone, which from some of the spam I saw is sometimes close to unreadable, without any regards for anything, and miss even simple instructions to include a word in their application or alike, so that just makes them never get anything or become kinda disliked by the people hiring.

I would understand if they were just trying to get jobs at low prices, to get something, and there are some that do this as well, like working for 1 dollar an hour and so on, but spamming gets them nowhere on that case.

kat

I guess it must do, to some extent, or they wouldn't do it.

Maybe it works, over there...?

You can convert PSD to HTML, and a simple search on Google will reveal many sites that can do this for you.

Yeah, maybe. Not all people hiring have the same level of standards.
