Hey guys,

I'm searching for a way to force users that are not logged in to the login page. Reason is to keep the forum and all related pages private. I guess the functionality is basic: If a user is logged in, he can use the forum normally, if it's a visitor, he's redirected to the login page.

Anyone got an idea/hint on how to do that?

Greetings and thanks in advance!

That's easy if you don't want guests to view the forum at all.   Admin > Features and options, uncheck "Allow guests to browse the forum"  :)

Okay, that was so trivial, I didn't even think about such an option  Thanks!

Not sure if it matters but that also means no Google indexing either if guests are blocked or very little unless theres some other way you generate traffic if needed.

Thank you Charlky, I actually was having the complete reverse issue. I was getting into the login page automatically and not able to browse my forum before logging in. Glad to know I was able to come here to get it fixed. Thank you.
