Is there any mod/extention that can copy topics from one forum to another forum on same site?

Like I select a topic checkbox on message index, it copies the the whole thread to new forum installed in different folder on same site? Copying with new date and time is fine. But just subject and messages can be copied?

thnx.

by "forum" do you mean FORUM (aka an entirely different SMF installation) or BOARD (a board within the same SMF installation)?

the first would be nearly impossible.
the second would be difficult but could probably be coded by someone (but currently does not exist)

So yes, different forum.

There is also another mod (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3491) which can make a topic to be copied and showed in other board(s).

The first one really sounds impossible because these are different forums. You need to find a way to connect between them so you can use a code which will affect the other forum, I think.

Player.samp, don't answer for him... You would be surprised at the misuse of terms that we see...

Yes. You read the question properly and understands it (where I specifically mentioned 'Different folder').

I will check that mod and see if I can get help to connect between two forums.

thnx.

Kindred's point is still valid about not answering for you since a lot of different terms are used for different things. It too me a loooong time to quit saying 'board' here when I was referring to my forum :P
