Is it possible to have postings with the most replies within a category or a child tree to move up to the top in numeric descending order 1-   2-   3- etc.  Can that be done by inserting a Java script somewhere?

Do you mean you would like a board to sort its topics by replies instead of last post, like this: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=3.0;sort=replies

If so, would you like this done for every board or just particular ones?
