Sudden Approval Required of Some Posts or Members

Two posts this morning--from different posters--needed to be approved. OldPilot and another from my mod team approved them.

I have not set anything up for posts needing approval other than users who are under warnings and neither of these are--they are relatively new users--and I am not even sure I have anyone under a warning level right now.

Where might I look to see what levels I have set for post approvals--or what else might be going on?

Akismet Spam Blocking most likely is the cause of the issue.

You can find the basic settings for post moderation from Admin -> Members -> Permissions -> Post Moderation, if you want to make sure it's not a permissions issue.

the OP is talking about posts needing approval. that mod has a mind of its own that does this.

Yes, I understood the problem - and I understand Akismet ( though I don't know the mod for SMF ).
Just tried to answer the question about possible levels for approvals, and through post count groups - those wold be where I pointed at ;)

Do you have a spam blocker that you suggest instead?

Sir Osis of Liver

IIRC, you're getting mostly bots.  I can give you something that will block bots 100%.  You can uninstall the mods you're currently running, see what gets through, add back what you need.
