Hey guys,

Recently I've installed a mod RIPC which removes index from the website url, however not only did it remove the index from url but now I cant open any board because somehow the borad forum has been changed.

Can someone help me out here, don't know how to change back the board's url. I have tried and removed the mod, but the problem persists, stil getting the message: Sorry, this page doesn't exist. Please check the URL or go back a page. 404 Error. Page Not Found.

Any help appreciated.

Did you download that mod from here? You must ask for support at its support topic as chances to get support are better there than here imho.

P.s. Whenever you install a mod btw, Smf makes a backup of all the directories and files that that particular mod modifies and stores them in a folder called backup inside the packages directory. It contains the date and it is prefixed with the Backup word followed by the name of the mod. Upload it to your pc, unzip it and then reupload it back to your forum directory. It might be worth a shot.

That mod looks to be hooks only, but it should have been removed years ago as it has only ever been a liability.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

worked like a charm, cheers guyz.
Yes, the mod was downloaded from this website.

I uploaded a backup folder and uploaded , extracted it. The settings changed to default ones.

THank you again,

All best
