Members cannot login after forced upgrade to 2.0.17

Hello, it's me again!

I successfully (well...) upgraded a damaged forum according to these steps to version from 2.0.12 or so to 2.0.17

1. Newly added users can log in and access the forum. Everything seems okay.

2. Already existing members are not able to log in. They get redirected to this page (which on my computer/Firefox appears to be a white page. Your view may differ)

active Mods: Tiny Portal, Pretty Urls.

Does anybody have a clue what I have to change?

If you want to log in and reproduce the problem, you may use old dummy Ulfi:

My first guess would be a clash with Pretty URLs.
I removed the login data above.

Indeed. I just turned the pretty URLs off and it seems to work.
Funny, it never was a problem in the past...

I will try to figure out a workaround.

You're welcome. Perhaps you could try asking in the Pretty URLs support topic for ideas on how to fix it further.

-> Pretty URLs: The mod offers the exclusion of the action "login" from prettification. Seems to work!

CORRECTION: The correct action to skip in Pretty urls is "agreement".
Not "login" as I previously said.

In Pretty Urls-Settings:

Skip Actions List: agreement

I decided to unhook rewriting actions altogether. Google will learn to cope with my decision.
