No...  That is where user requested notifications are tracked & whether they have been read or not.

They are purged automatically per your setting under Admin | Configuration | General. 
Address the process rather than the outcome.  Then, the outcome becomes more likely.   - Fripp

if i clean the table, it may cause some future problem
