Project - No Name

So over the past few weeks I have been messing around with this project. It started off simple enough with me just tinkering around and trying different tips/tricks. I was then looking at dribbble for inspiration and well now I have a full on theme going on.

I am not 100% happy with it and not sure if I want to complete it. Feedback will probably help with that decision.

Shout out to Antechinus for the post area trick and Mick. for the font awesome icon by the forum title trick. Both tricks can be found in the tips and tricks section - https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=72.0

Dude I dig the color palette and the user/avatar area on mobile in display template. Very nice. It sure looks like a variation nonetheless. Break out of it, and play with the header and main menu. It will change the looks of it dramatically. Even the footer as well but not necessary. Overall, I like it. It's nice. Don't quit.

Well I am starting to figure this Font Awesome stuff out XD. I changed the Top Menu,Main Menu, and Board Stats icons to use some Font Awesome icons.
It is not the biggest change, but it looks much better.

Less borders or less noticeable

And less opacity in some shadows or send them away

it's looking really nice
colorful yet still a dark theme

moving the footer and making it match the width of the content/wrapper helps flow better, might help to do the same with the header, instead of having it at 100% width

Thank you for your feedback. The borders are way less noticeable than when I first started trust me XD. Maybe I could knock them back another notch.. maybe lol.

Which shadows specifically? I thought they were pretty subtle to be honest.(Minus the wrapper and top section box-shadows)

Mainly text-shadows, e.g. category description.
For me it grabs more attention than the name of the category

I'm not a fan of text shadows but I use it on envy and feather themes for the jumbotron in case the admin apply white background images. Easier to read.
