Error 403 on my forum.

Hi,
please advise. Day by day an error started to appear. It happens if I want to sort users by ID, Username, Email, IP, Online, Posts. Can someone please advise? Thank you in advance.

You don't have permission to access this resource.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Usually the 403 error means that the web server doesn't have the rights to read the file and therefore can't continue the request. i.e. it is a permission issue.

P.s. Was any change/modification made to the forum prior to this happening?

it's also, frequently, caused by a poorly configured mod_security in php (at the host level)

I didn't make any changes. I didn't install any new add-ons either.

You should contact your host about it.

They wrote to me:  We have disabled the Modsec rules.

But it didn't help.  :-\

P. S.  I can't get to my site or Cpanel...

if you can't get to your site/cpanel, then it definitely is a host-side issue....

Thank you. Resolved. It was mod_security.
