Hi

when I go to admin menu I cant do anything because of the window Features and Options Menu. I use php version 7.4 I have just installed new forum. I have try different themes and browsers. Its working on the default theme

Thank you

It's working on the default theme, so the issue is the theme and the theme author should fix it.

This may be bigger. All my themes have the same issue. The op theme is not one of mine. That's two different themes with same issue

Yeah, I'm afraid pretty much all older 2.1 themes will see some issues if they aren't updated.

Two different themes with same issue. I'm afraid more themes will come forward.

Strange, the popup is for mobile but it appears on desktop freezing the page. I looked into it last night with the console for errors but returned OK. This may be a js/script issue but I can't tell.

Is there a list of template changes on github? I'd hate to re write an entire template for something that may be as simple as moving a div.

@rjen

It is a very recent commit that was made sometime last week I believe... that should narrow it down...
Running SMF 2.1 with latest TinyPortal at www.fjr-club.nl

Pull request #7272 is probably the most relevant for you, @Mick. In particular, looking at commit d2731f8 will likely be helpful. Actually, no, looking at the entire pull request will be helpful, but especially the addition of CSS for #adm_submenus .popup_window.
I promise you nothing.

Sesqu... Sesqui... what?
Sesquipedalian, the best word in the English language.

Thank you. I'll take a looksie tonight after work

I think this issue happens for themes built on unstable versions of SMF 2.1 (RC4, I think)

I believe so. I think they still rc3.  :o

I'm updating my themes now for 2.1.0 now that this makes sense.

HikerShawn

I had this same error with a fresh install of 2.1. I tried again with another theme and the same result.

I imagine it is a significant enough change that the theme developers will have to update and the average Joe can't right?
