Hi
I have been trying to convert from IPB v4.5.4 and it won't let me.
The files are in the correct folders, the databases are on the same server, but it keeps telling me no,
I have added a screenshot of the problem.

Any chance of some help or guidance?
Thank you...

Did you install the Smf forum at the same dataabse as of your Ipb forum, or did you use a separate database? If the later, make sure that each database user has full permissions to each database. The easiest thing though, is to install the smf in the same database as that of your Ipb forum.

Didn't actually click that they both had to be on the same database >.<
That is fixed and running the convert tool now.

I did come across a bug or error when I first ran the convert tool, it required me editing convert.php and removing {} from two locations.

Edit
I seem to have come upon an error
"Converting user avatars...Table 'fail_forum2.sib_core_attachments' doesn't exist" and the convert seems to be stuck there.

It looks like the attachments table is not present in the database. Copy its structure from the install.sql file and add it to the database.

Wasn't quite sure how to do that, so I opened the .sql and viewed the attachments part, created a new table and added each value to it, when I retried the convert tool, I got a new error.

Converting user avatars...The database value you're trying to insert does not exist: width

However the width value is there.
