"Login As User" mod?

I am returning to SMF after some time. I've become familiar with Xenforo which offers a very useful plugin "Login As User"

Like the name implies, it allows the approved person (Admin, Moderator, etc) Login by clicking on a particular users name. At that point, all interactions with the forum are as if it was that person. It is very useful in troubleshooting user issues, whether it be they don't understand how to use the forum or if there is a bug that gets exposed by their particular settings.

Sure would like to obtain something like this for SMF. I'll be happy to share info I have in developing something like this

Personally,  I find mods like this a bad idea,  potentially a misuse of privacy

I've used the mod to move emails into topic threads to maintain some continuity in support situations where the victim can't or won't post consistently in support topic.  Makes it easier to review previous work than trying to sort through piles of old emails.  But anything can be misused.
