we've started getting various errors including:

Cron (175)
8192: Function create_function() is deprecated

General (48)
Your request was denied as your email, username and/or IP address is listed in the Stop Forum Spam database

Undefined (30)
8: Undefined index: label

User (7)
Password incorrect -

Critical (2)
Cannot access attachments upload path! (D:\Domains\friendsoffulham.com\wwwroot\forum/attachments)

the undefined and user errors are understandable, however they've not been log'd before?
I think the general error is connected to the Cron?

as we've NOT made any changes I'm guessing that our hosting has changed something?
what could the change(s) be?

I need to know what questions to ask the hosting company,

thanks in advance

Illori

what version of SMF are you running and what version of PHP?

Aleksi "Lex" Kilpinen

You host has probably updated PHP, and you are using mods that are not fully compatible.

The create_function deprecation notice is a bit of a giveaway, as it will only suddenly come up when you update PHP, and it is a warning that further PHP updates will break things.

It's not really a host issue.  Currently supported php versions are 8.1/8.2/8.3/8.4.  SMF 2.1.4  supports 8.1/8.2.  Php 7.4 went eol over two years ago.  You need to determine which mod is causing the problem and see if there's an updated version.
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.
