2.1.5/2.1.6 upgrade errors

I just upgraded from 2.1.4 to 2.1.5 by patch.

After the patch, I just got "SMF file version (2.1.4) does not match SMF database version (2.1.5)."

I applied the 2.1.6 large upgrade and run upgrader, now I got "SMF file version (2.1.4) does not match SMF database version (2.1.6)."

Restoring the original 2.1.4 database got the forum working on the 2.1.6 file set, searching the original large 2.1.6 update, I find several files with

* @version 2.1.4

in the header.

In main index.php,

define('SMF_VERSION', '2.1.6');

is set, despite that, SMF thinks, it's 2.1.4.

Any help?
