Popup smile It doesn't work.

As already mentioned in this topic, I'm also having a problem with the smiley popup in a theme other than the default one.
Basically, when I click the "more" button, the popup doesn't open. I noticed this after the last two updates to 2.1.5/6.
From what was written in the other topic, my jquery.sceditor.smf.css and jquery.sceditor.theme.css files appear to be error-free because I compared them with the correct and updated ones.
The theme I'm using is Halloween by @TwitchisMental , but I'm having the same problem on GreyedOut.
With the default theme, however, I don't have this problem.
There's also no conflict with the mods in use, since I removed them all and the problem is still there.
Any other ideas for a solution?

Thanks

@TwitchisMental has released v2.1.6 versions for both of those themes.

Have up installed the new, 2.1.6, versions of both themes?  There is no such issue, for example, in the current version of Greyed Out, which I've tested.

This was mentioned in the other thread, but you never stated whether you have tried the latest or not...

Yes, of course I updated both themes, in fact I also received this in the error log, but I think it has been updated anyway...

action=admin;area=theme;sa=install;do=file

2: rename(/home/cyiwwprd/public_html/Themes/temp,/home/cyiwwprd/public_html/Themes/GreyedOut): File exists

2: rename(/home/cyiwwprd/public_html/Themes/temp,/home/cyiwwprd/public_html/Themes/Halloween): File exists

you need to uninstall each theme before you can reinstall to upgrade it. you may need to reinstall mods if they modify your themes.

I just installed the Halloween theme on my test server downloaded today. I've never used this theme before and I have the latest version.

The button isn't working on my test server.

I noticed that the change wasn't made in the jquery.sceditor.theme.css

I made the change, re-installed the theme, and the button now works.

Just to check, I installed the GreyedOut theme on my test server.

The changes to the jquery.sceditor.theme.css were there and the button worked.

Why aren't the files overwritten? That's what I thought...
Why not create patches for the themes too, so we'll waste less time, especially after making some changes?

Anyway, I'll try in the next few days.

Thanks

I wouldn't expect all theme files to be modified. Some themes can get pretty complicated.

This was a little painful, but in the big scheme, not much.

It only took a week to get to the bottom of this so for free forum software, I consider that a win.  :D

Were you able to get it working?
