Problem with changing avatar after update

Helo,

My forum was on version 2.1.4 and everything regarding changing avatars worked properly.
I updated the forum to 2.1.5 and immediately after that to version 2.1.6

After updating from 2.1.4 to 2.1.6 I noticed that I can't change my avatar, I tried uploading my avatar to the server and it doesn't work. I get the following message:



I tried the same thing via the URL link from the avatar and I get the same error message. I've tried with a lot of different avatars and the message is always the same.

I chmoded the folder 'custom_avatar' to 777 but I have the same problem.
Can someone help me and tell me why this happened after the update?

Not having any problem uploading avatar in 2.1.6 core install.  Can you attach the image you're trying to upload?

I can, although there are various pictures, I didn't just try with one picture

it looks like its format comes as not valid. Have you done any recent changes/modifications to the forum prior to this happening?

Posted avatar uploads normally to 2.1.6.  If you convert it to jpg does it upload?

I converted it to jpg but the problem is the same.

The only change I made was updating from 2.1,4 to 2.1.6.

I'll reinstall the operating system and the entire server in a few days. After that, I'll restore the 2.1.4 backup and see if it works. I'll let you know the result here in a few days.
