can  i use a phpBB theme in a SMF site?
is it possible?

Not in a standard install.

Maybe someone will be kind enough to convert it for you.

not like it is. you'll have to port it. the template systems are two totally different things.
The only thing php can't do is tell you how much milk is left in the fridge.

Unknown did it ones.... he build a replica to work on smf. He might be willing to help you if you ask him.

i haven't seen uknown for awhile, i thought he left SMF.

He made a smf template look exactly the same as a phpbb template. :)

[Unknown] is currently inactive here. so i dont think that will work.

also, remember, permission from the author of the phpBB theme is needed before you get someone to port it for you.
The only thing php can't do is tell you how much milk is left in the fridge.
