phpbb2.0.19 to SMF1.0.5 to Joomla1.0.5

i am running Phpbb2.0.19 , i want to use Joomla1.0.5 integrated with SMF1.0.5
After reading different posts here what i could understand is that first i'll have to convert from phpbb2.0.19 to SMF1.0.5 then it'll be possible to use Joomla1.0.5. Is that true ?
If so , could anyone please tell me what exactly should i do to convert phpbb2.019 to SMF1.0.5 ?
Any latest convertor script for this ?
And after i'll get it converted , how will i integrate with Joomla1.0.5 ?

After you have converted, you can check out the Mambo/Joomla Bridge Support board to get more information about integrating SMF with Joomla.

The convertor found on the download page says that ,

Convert phpBB to SMF. Tested with phpBB 2.0.7.

Are you sure , the same convertor will work for php 2.0.19 ?

The same converter works for all recent versions of phpBB, don't worry. But as always: back-up before you convert!
