upgrading themes from 1.0

alot of great themes are not updated yet like i think all themes by A.M.A are still 1.0.if there is any link/guide to upgrade themes i will like to do this.
            searched but no links.anyone have?

Please bear in mind that RC2 has only just gone public.
We need to allow the theme writers some time to update their themes should they wish to do so.
