Posting time threshold per user?

I was wondering if it's possible, or if there was a mod, that could allow me to set a time threshold per user for them to post? I've got a couple of members that I swear are going for some posting record as every minute there is a new reply from them. I would like to make it so perhaps they could only post every hour. Is that possible?

This is possible.
Just go to administration - Post and topics - Time required between posts from the same IP and configure it to fits you need. 3600 seconds for one hour :P

Would that not effect all members though? It's only one or two problem people I want it too effect...

That will have effect on all members unfortunately.

Yeah... that's why I'm after one "per user"

Did anyone ever find a workaround for this? To change the post delay per user or per usergroup. Or at least have no delay for the admins and mods.

Thanks

I think there was a team member looking into making a mod that would allow you to set the maximum number of posts per day for each membergroup. I will ask them if they are still making this mod.
