Unable to attach files.

I am getting this error and I am lost as how to fix it.

The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

This is what my attachments directory says: /home/camdenth/public_html/board/attachments

Please advise:

You need to chmod the directory to 777. Can you confirm this has already been done?

Sounds like essentially the directory is not writeable and that's why you are getting those errors.

I am fairly new at this:  Please expand on "chmod the directory to 777".

Where can I go to do this.
