Write only boards?

I've probably got my permissions screwed up, but I was wondering if it's possible to make a board write (or reply) only?

Basically, I want users to be able to post information, but I don't want their posts to be readable by anyone other than administrators/moderators.

Which versions of SMF do you use? Since SMF 1.1 has got a beginners and advanced permissions system it would be handy to know which version of SMF you use.

Try the Read topic permission mod.

I may be interpreting this wrong, but it looks like the mod affects a membergroup across *all* boards on a site. What I want is finer-grained than that--being able to specify, say, one board that is write-only for regular members, but have all of the other boards with normal access for those same regular members.

Or, maybe the mod has this functionality and I'm simply not seeing it or understanding it correctly.

You do that with local board permissions.
