Sorry I'm probably being very dense, but I can't find the option to turn on quick reply...

Any pointers in the right direction please?

Profile > Look and Layout Preferences > Use quick reply on topic display set to on, by default.

A related question- My quick reply was turned off by default. Is there a way of setting it on for all members?

Just what I was going to ask as a follow up. It's such a great feature but I'll bet practically no one knows about it, so it would be good to be able to set it on as default for all users. Is that possible?

OK no it's cool I have it!

For the record:

To set quick reply on for all members go

Admin -> Current Theme's Settings -> Reset Member Specific Option for all members

then under "Use quick reply on topic display" check the checkbox to the left and select "Show on, by default"
