Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

I got these three or four times now, just thought I'd better report it. :) They occur when posting a message, although the message gets posted.

Acf

Its a server issue nothing to do with smf, Compuart is working on it :)
For more information you can always ask/pm him :)

I just went from 1.06 to 1.1RC2 and several of my members are complaining of this error.....I still don't know what the fix is........I have over 200MB of free space, so space isn't the issue....

Could it be a permissions issue or is it down to something else?!?  Please help.....

Thank you.

(EDIT: Sorry for this post being in this forum....if I could move it, I would......but it's one of the only forum posts I've found in searching, that has had this exact error message and exactly what's happening on my site)

I checked, and in the log it says:

"No messages..."

However, I overlooked the option for "Enable Error Logging" and now have enabled it........will wait until it gets reported again......thanks.

I'll report it here, but Google Analytics seems to slowing down the site. Google blogged about it in their blog, but Simple Machines is one of the sites ive seen affected to a degree that it causes a problem, it just seems to be at certain period though, not all the time, but I see "waiting for google-analytics.com" in the status bar.

You could just block google analytics using adblock or the hosts file

I've also seen that problem many times. simplemachines.org is ok but google doesn't let the page load sometimes :)

I didn't fix my problem as I didn't have this problem. I posted about a problem on THIS site.

Please don't PM me for support

I didn't want "private support" huwnet....I wanted to know the fix as it wasn't posted, but apparently I misunderstood that you weren't the one with the issue.....although the post you made really had no actual relevance since no "fix" was posted or linked to.....please don't get your panties in a wad as to my PM....it's intent wasn't to get a one on one tutorial on how to install or use SMF........I'm a bit more knowledgeable than that......you ought not to assume too much.  But thank you for the reply, even if it's public rather than replying to my PM......
