Images under member titles

Or at least being able to put images (html or bbc code) through member's personal text, so they show up under their avatars in posts.

We are on ezBoard at the moment and I am working on moving us to SMF. We have a challenge game going on which rewards a member with a certain icon after they achieve it. That icon appears under their name on each of their posts.

I am having a hard time figuring out how to continue this tradition on SMF.

I tried to disable personal text editing for all members and using it to enter the code for the images to no avail, which is probably a risk thing.

A real newbie here in need of some guidance. Thank you.

There is an awards mod, you could try using it.

I tried to install it but am getting an error:
Execute Modification     ./Themes/default/Profile.template.php     Test failed
Execute Modification    ./Themes/default/Display.template.php    Test failed

I also have the shop mod. Could this be the problem?
