I'll explain why I want it, I'm sure there are other uses to.

With the new version and the 'user authorisation' mode I'd like to be able to see my '****** list' (of emails and IPs) to compare against prospective users.

In certain circumstances what I call 'user profiling' is the only way too keep certain people out.

At the moment I keep a post in my boards staff forum for this purpose.

I envisage it would look and behave somewhat like the template editor in yse.. but be smaller.

I expect there could be many more uses for this too, it would probably be good to make it accessilbe from the main admin centre page too as when banning users I keep their email/username and the ip's they've used in this post.

Hi,
I don`t think there is anything that can make sure that those people are blocked. Some IP`s change a few numbers, and you can`t banned everybody with only the first or last numbers.  As for email of name you can login with any name or emailadres you want.

But who knows?  ???
I.m currious because that`s something that may come in handy.

Overseer

yes. exactly.

but certain in-duh-viduals exhibit tell tale patterns. my reason for requesting this is that it allows the management of these things.. (like using the same ISP/free email host similar nicks.. there's often a pattern)

another example.. someone looking at this post, and one from a few days or even months ago may think I have a fixed IP...  but i'm posting from work right now... my home IP is sometimes in the same range, but is dynamic.

I know and have, or am building these kinds of patterns for those I have trouble with.
