Only quote last reply when clicking "Reply with quote"

I love SMF; recently converted (very smoothly!) from phpBB and don't plan on going back. 

The title of my request is pretty self explanatory. You have a button for "Reply with quote". But when used back to back, you end up with quotes inside quotes. It would be nice if, by default, it only enclosed the last reply inside quotes, since one would assume those are the users intentions.

Did a search thru the forum but didn't find anything related to this. I apologize if it's been discussed and I missed it.

In 1.1 series, just disable nested quotes via Admin > Posts and Topics > Settings. I'm not sure how to find it in 1.0.8.

But absolutely there is a feature in SMF like that
