group maping is not working

The group maping feature is not working. I tried to map Global Moderators into joomla Managers but it only maps users as registered.Is there any solution to make this mapping work.

Im using joomla version 1.0.11 and SMF version 1.1RC3 and bridge version 1.1.6.

So, you've set these properly in the groups tab, and saved them?

Yes i've done all the settings properly.I not using Post count based groups in smf, i have created some regular groups in smf and mapped them to joomla groups using the bridge, like i have mapped global moderator of smf as administrator in the joomla.But still when i register as global moderator in smf, i get registered as registered user in joomla not as administrator.
