Sir i want little help from u...i wanna change..the subject maxlength thus how to do..

I'd figured it out that

in rct we can change the maxlength accroding to our desire  just by changign the below code maxlength in MessageIndex.template.php
<input type="text" name="subject" value="\' + subject + \'" size="60" style="width: 99%;"  maxlength="80" />

but in smf_1-0-7 what to do to increase the maxlength. I'm using saforange105 themes???

help me... i'd done many but still unsuccessful...

some one told me that You would do the same thing for SMF 1.0.7
Open Post.template.php and find subject and set the subject length. Check if post.template.php exists in your theme if not open up the default theme folder and edit it there.

well i made the changes there too but no use... it did not worked..

The theme works perfectly fine with RC3. It just isn't recognized as a RC3 theme.

Example (my forum): http://www.x3gen.com/forum (It's slightly customized, but still SaF-Multicolor.)

It does work for RC3, however some of the addons for RC3 (youtube bbc etc) will not work on it.

Saf theme has another version for 1.1, called Saf Multicolor.

can i change the sm logo at top right to my logo?  forget it changed the .gif so I know how to change the logo..

I have the SimpleDownload mod installed, but the download button does not show up in the main menu.
I can see the download button in the Saf images folder, but it won't come in the template.  It comes up in the default template.

Is there a way to modify the Saf template to show the download button?

i am using saf-grey theme and upgraded to SMF 1.1 and it seems to still work. just thought i would announce it here for anyone still using this theme and not using the newer saf multicolor theme.

I'm using saf-blue and upgraded to SMF 1.1.1 and have some serious problems though. For instance, marking all topics read is no longer an option and I do get quite some errors too
