"mysql gone" appears in top left of screen ??

Why would I see these two words on the top left corner of my main front page of my forums? Is it some kind of error or maybe a file has been incorrectly edited, causing this?

If it's on every page check your index.template.php file in the theme folder that you are using. Does it do it on all themes?

I think it only happens on 1 theme.
