Converting from Phpbb to SMF

 Hello People,
I am a user of phpbb forums, and have been for quite a while. I want to convert from phpbb to SMF. But I have no idea how to. I have read your support section on FAQs, and seen that there are converter tools. I have no idea how to use these & which files to download to use them. I would also like to have SMF forums that contain NO advertising.

Can I do this without losing current forum information? I see you can, but I am wondering if this is only with previous versions on SMF.
