I've been kind of slack about my upgrades, but I'm ready to upgrade my forum from 1.0.9 to the newest version, and I have a couple of questions.

1-Can I upgrade straight from 1.0.9 to the newest version, or do I have to install the previous versions first?

2-I went to my package manager to do the upgrade and find nothing there to upgrade with.  I seem to remember doing an upgrade once and using my package manager.  This was back in 11/06.

Thanks!

I updated yesterday from 1.08 to the latest version, no problems.
I downloaded the upgrade from the homepage's download link

Yes, You can do it.

Just remember make a back up on your forum and database before you upgrade your forum to a 1.1.2...

If in cause something go wrong throw the upgrade or after the upgrade....

I've been slack in my updates too. I noticed that the package manager will only update my SMF 1.0.9 to SMF 1.0.10 and not the latest SMF 1.1.2? Why is this so, SMF will not auto update to latest and I have to do it manually?

The last update indicated which is 1.0.10 is the last in the line of SMF 1.0 is probably why.

The next release which is now final is 1.1. If you follow previous posters comments about backing up and then upgrade to the current release of 1.1final you will be fine.
