Question about Notification settings...

Catching up as quick as I can learning all this new and amazing stuff...

I notice with the notification settings that initially most of the settings are off, will we have an easy method to change what the initial default settings for new users are? or is this already covered and I just haven't discovered it yet?

does not seem at this time there is any admin configuration for the alerts system. i am not sure anyone has brought this up to the devs to know if they have any plans on changing it.
