Here's my updated version that should apply to SMF up to 1.1.7.

It also doesn't count quoted material. This is to stop users from making a quote and going +1 at the bottom of it.

I use this package and try to use only quote and I can make the post , so didnt work that feature

when I use this mod in english, The warnings appear, but when I use it in portuguese, the warnings dont appear.

What do I have to do ?

Hi JackWise - translate the following into portuguese and add to your /Themes/default/languages/Errors.portuguese.php file.

Code (Find) Select Expand

$txt['error_long_message'] = 'The message exceeds the maximum allowed length (' . $modSettings['max_messageLength'] . ' characters).';

Code (Add after) Select Expand

$txt['error_minWordLen'] = 'The message does not meet the minimum word requirements (' . $modSettings['minWordLen'] . ' words).';
$txt['error_minChar'] = 'The message does not meet the minimum character requirements (' . $modSettings['minChar'] . ' characters).';
