Error or bug?

I recently upgraded SMF 1.1.10 from 1.1.9 and am having some major issues.

When I go to log in after logging out I get this message:

An Error Has Occurred!
You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings.

This happens mainly when I change the forum theme. I am locked out of the account and have to delete the entire theme in the FTP folder, then I can access my account (just the text of the forum) and change it back to the default.

I have tried this using many different themes (all for 1.1.10) and the same thing occurs... I have tried deleting cookies - also ran ccleaner... I am thinking it is some setting that the default theme has that the others don't but I am spinning my wheels. Thank you in advance... Any ideas?

It sounds like this topic may be better off in the SMF 1.x Support board, at least for now. (please do not create another, perhaps a moderator will move this one, if that is the case)

Do you have any mod installed that relates to URLs, like Pretty URLs maybe?
