Anybody know of a referral mod

I tried. It said it is either corrupted or does not support this smf.

Your option at this point then is to manually install it. Click the referrals_1-1.tar.gz (10KB) option and 1.1.7 from the drop-down menu, then click Submit. Download your files and edit them accordingly (make backups of everything is a good idea, too- Themes and Sources folders).
