Happy new year to all the staff of SMF who work so hard to GIVE us such a nice software.
I run 2 forums , I had a Charter Membership once but didn't renew for the last 3 years or more... might be time for me to donate again and hopefully that other people will do the same.

keep on the good work guys and girls... while I think that sometimes the SMF rc2 is buggy, I've realized that , often, the bugs are due to my way of managing it  ;)  56 years old and PHP don't mix too well !

Big thanks to Jade for her personal help on msn !

Thanks for your awesome feedback, and happy new year to you too!

RC2 has had a lot of issues, granted, but we're working hard on fixing them up, getting as much of the bigger stuff out of the way for RC3, and then cleaning up the little fiddly ones thereafter in time for 2.0 final.

Thanks for the wishes! Be assured that we are working feverishly on getting 2.0 final released soon. Hopefully it will be a nice new year present! :)

There might be some other nonsense in its place, but not that exact nonsense. If all of science were wiped out, it would still be true and someone would find a way to figure it all out again."

Most of the New Year greetings were in the thread in Chit Chat, I believe.

Let's make 2010 a year to remember though.

Since myson raised this thread from the dead, I'll add this.
Sirius, you think PHP doesn't mix too well with a 56 year old, I'm 70 years old and fiddling around. :P

I haven't been to WHT in a long time but I remember seeing you there a long while back.

I know I'm bringing up an ancient thread but it's been almost six months sine you posted the above, yet there is no Charter Member badge by your name. I finally decided to re join the Charter Member group, now how about you?
