I might be wrong. But i think that those themes in SlammedDimes list has been looked at by a volunteer not from the smf team. So you can erase those from the list, because to me it's wrong that the team (or a team member) gets credit for something that they haven't done.

Oya, you are apparently not listening/reading.  The number of APPROVED moved has very little to actually do with the number REVIEWED and SENT BACK.  Again, we have no control over the responsiveness (or lack thereof) from the mod/theme authors...  So, yes, the mod queue is a little larger than we would desire, in a perfect world, but it is not in the dire straights that some people are trying to portray.

Quit it. Whether the themes were approved by team members or out-of-team volunteers is not relevant to the fact that they were reviewed and approved.
(and Oya, whatever you read on "another site" is likely just as opinionated and slated as you seem to think that statements from this site are.)

BTW: Yes, we have had some help and I greatly appreciate help from the volunteers who have been helping.

i think everyone's biased but that there has to be some truth in what everyone's saying...

in any case, some of those mods weren't modified between submission and approval which means they'd been sat in the queue

i can only go on what the site tells me for certain but several of the mods approved today were submitted weeks ago without any changes since which seems to imply there is a backlog

thats part of the problem of having it behind closed doors, we have no reason to trust you more than those other sites - you could say there's a queue of 100, or a queue of 1, we dont know any different

Problem is, people, for whatever reason(s), are not believing what they're being told.

Why bother to ask questions, if you're (That's "You" plural) not going to believe the answers, anyway?

If you're told falsehoods, you're not going to believe them.

But, by the same token, if you're told the truth, you're not going to believe that, either.

So, why bother asking?

As far as I can tell, the truth, as people see it, IS being given.

So much time and effort is being flushed straight down than can, because topics, such as this, have to be dealt with, when the people who have do deal with them would be far more productive, if they could spend that wasted time getting other things done.

Plus, of course, all this stuff is causing a lot of bad feeling, which may well be the whole idea, I guess.

Me? Well, I try hard to let it all wash over me. To a large extent, I ignore stuff, like this, because there's no point in me adding my cent's-worth, because it seems that nobody's going to believe me, anyway, just as they don't seem to believe Kindred.

It's been a month approx since any new themes or mods been uploaded... whats happening with SMF.. ? 

It's slowly self-destruct. It's the policy. Please don't get bent out of shape, it will be fine.
